What do we do at Scouts?

What we learn at Scouts is; Fire Safety, First Aid,Pioneering/Mini Pioneering, Leadership Skills,Charity Work(helping out at Ryde Harriers with bag organising, giving food to the Food Bank and Fund Raising in general and sometimes do Coffee Mornings),also in the summer we go Kayaking, Raft Building, Sailing and we have also had a one off go at Scuba Diving, Water Safety is a major priority so we do a refresh on Kayak Capsize Drills and improving swimming skills(it doesn’t matter if you can’t swim as you will be lent a Life Jacket/Buoyancy Aid and be taught how to use one correctly) annually, sometimes, we visit the Life Boat and Fire Stations.
